New to Overclock.net

COD WAW problems :( :( :(
I downloaded the COD beta for the second time after having problems with the original.
__________________Ive just installed the game and it shows up in my add and remove programmes. But whenever I try to open it the screen goes black then I get an error message saying the the programme has stopped working! Any ideas or fixes??? Law

Run as Administrator? Just keep trying different settings.

Go into the sound properties in control panel. Then go into the properties of the 'speakers' option, then click on the advanced tab.
Change it to: 24 bit, 48000 Hz (Studio Quality). Should do the trick.

right running as admin does nothing.
__________________changed the sound. and i get the choice of running in safe mode. ive tried both of them still nothing. but i do get sound FX now when it errors  anything else edit: 16bit doesnt do anything either Law

make sure your OS is up to date with the latest SP. I had the same issues before and that fixed it for me

i had to update my sound drivers to get it to work
