I've been using those configs for a long time and they really help at times. This is definitely not cheating and it only gives the extra bit of advantage over other players such as the ability to see a bit more than players using default configs.

One other thing is the FPS. My default FPS is 125, but I've boosted it to 666 with the help of some overclocking. Really helped in messy situations where smoke and flashes simultaneously filled my screen.

I play promod regularly and countless times, I've thanked my pro-config for allowing me to see beside me as I creeped past hallways. So yea, post it up! I'd like to try it out

It also allows you to edit your binds. Graphics is a big thing though, because you can tone down your graphics so much it becomes an easy task to find other people hiding in bushes and bricks. But like some others also stated, it doesn't help just to take away the light coming from the sun or removing decals on the walls. It still takes skill to get good scores.

All the console work is done for you, so you just game on.

To all those who want my new cfg.

Some changes.

If playing on promod servers ( Latest ones )

FILM TWEAK Activation ( Alter colours of maps etc )
Press:

B > 5 > 2.

This will enable your film tweaks.

To mess around settings you have keys

F5 , F6 , F7, F8 For the 5-6 Maps that are played in COMP mode.

Also shortcuts for guns

O = Sniper
K = AK
P = AK74U
L = Shotgun

This is as close as u can get to a legit aimbot

Simply put, this new config makes your game better by improving your buzzword, allowing your buzzword to buzzword more smoothly. It's high-precision, designed for experts.

I used the config just to check it out. Seems like gamma is raised quite a bit. I had everything on low + no bloom earlier, and the config looks better. FPS did seem much smoother, but not sure if I'll continue with this. Gamma is pretty damn high.
