Hello there, just wanted to share one of my configs which i use and is one of the best configs for gaming. I use this mod to play PROMOD, PAM Mods and i use this mod to play in tournaments.

! Warning !

Make sure you back up your own config before you do anything, as am not responsible if anything happens. Rename your own config to something like "config_mpbackup.cfg" and keep it in the same folder.

How to extract and use this config:

C:\Program\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\player\profiles\<accountname> config_mp.cfg

Simply extract the file from the ZIP, "config_mp.cfg" into that folder.

Launch the game, and edit the resolution, and if you wish lower down the texture to lowest to gain a bit more FPS. In this config you have some pre set binds which are funny, etc just for the public.

Using this config it will give you an advantage over normal public players, as many of the codes have been in putted to give the player that extra bit to see further, or to pin point the enemies better.
All the console work is done for you, so you just game on.

Some changes.

If playing on promod servers ( Latest ones )

FILM TWEAK Activation ( Alter colours of maps etc )
Press:

B > 5 > 2.

This will enable your film tweaks.

To mess around settings you have keys

F5 , F6 , F7, F8 For the 5-6 Maps that are played in COMP mode.

Also shortcuts for guns

O = Sniper
K = AK
P = AK74U
L = Shotgun

This is as close as u can get to a legit aimbot

What I don't get, is why you'd use this? A 4850 can run COD4 at >60fps @ 1920x1200 4xAA. Since you have an LCD there's no point in running over 60fps. In fact you'll have to turn on V-sync just to stop the tearing, and then you'll be right back to 60fps anyway.

I get 250 fps with this config, i dont play public, i only play wars , clan wars , leagues etc.

Thought id be helpfull with this config who play cod4 on a higher level?
Maybe am mistaken not many here do play promods or pam mods sorry
