Call of Duty 4 Execution Problem!
Hey so Call of Duty 4 has been working fine for many weeks, then all of this sudden it said "key code in use."
Now i've gotten that before when i didn't actually own the game and played without punkbuster. But my CD appears to have been stolen and EA won't give a new one, i have to buy the game again. I just did a clean install on my new PC and it runs Single Player no problem but when i try to run Multiplayer, it goes to a black screen then says it didn't run right or whatever. It did that on my old machine too after my CD key got stolen, i don't get it, any idea's?

This is a pretty common occurrence, happens because freeloaders with keygens use all the keys for themselves... if you have proof of purchase (receipt, original packaging, something like that), they should give you a new key code. Contact the, now what's it called, customer service department or whatever...?

I tried contacting EA, but they said i would have to buy a new game since it came with my 9800 GT. And my problem isn't the CD key, i can't even get multiplayer to start anymore!
I just want to make it execute right!

Haha well i mean i did have the game illegit at one point in time, however i got tired of it and wanted some full access, but when someone screwed me over.....what was i supposed to do?!?! I just don't understand why SP works but MP won't even execute!
