Default HowTo:Create L4D Server Browser Menu Option
Create a L4D Server Browser Menu Option

Tired of waiting for Valve to create a menu option for L4D to open up the hidden server browser? Wait no longer. Don't like binding keys? Then this is for you.

Either download the .rar with the file pre-edited for you, just simple extract to C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\left 4 dead\....

Or follow the quick and simple notepad edit as following....

Go to
C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\left 4 dead\left4dead\resource\UI\L4D360UI

Open mainmenu.res with notepad.

Look for.....

NOTE:
As NCspec points out, you can change "OPEN SERVER BROWSER" or "Look for a server using the server list." to anything you desire.

friend told me about it over STEAM.
I can try asking where he got it from.

I don't know why I did not think of this before, considering I used to mod the hell out of my CS:S menu. Its the exact same format.
