Tom Clancy's: Rogue Spear is a good shooter. It allows you to switch between first/third person at any time which is real good for hiding around corners and watching someone run down a hallway just to have you pop out and BOOM HEADSHOT!

I can link you to a download from the only competitive ladder left for Rogue Spear. Remember, this game came out 10 years ago so you won't be overly impressed with the graphics but it still is fun and a lot of members still play on Gamespy. (EWW GAMESPY! lol)

in re "Dispath of Army" (terrible title by the way):

"Dispatch of Army is a Massively Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter that delivers the kill-or-be-killed experience in the combat environment of the 60s. The game features 3 game modes which provide even the most hardcore gamer with palm sweating challenges through detailed jungle and urban warfare. As a soldier, players will take their fates in their hands, battling against up to 32 other players online in an action-packed, frag-filled maps."

So, couple things here to the devs....is massively multiplayer the 32 players?? So is the 64 players in BF2 "obscenely massive"? Someone has to reign in the marketing jargon.......

As to "the kill-or-be-killed experience in the combat environment of the 60s"?? Please elaborate on this ridiculous statement. Was combat much worse in the 60's? I'd venture to say that there's plenty who'd tell you today's combat is just as bad, if not worse that what we dealt with in the 60's. Conversely, I'd also bet there are a number of WWII vets that would also disagree with that statement as well. Korean vets would tell you the 50's weren't easy either.

As to detailed jungle and urban warfare?? yet the picture shows 10 dudes playing with each other in a seemlingly boring doctor's waiting room.

All in all, after reading that paragraph - this hardcore gamer will never sweat after playing this game.... too much effort went into trying to read through that nonsense, my brain hurts..

Great list OP.....some great titles on there I'd love to try..this one just isn't one of them... not knocking you - just that lame paragraph (which I'd feel bad about if the game was actually good).
