I use to be able to play fear with everything maxed now no matter what settings i play it gets sooo laggy so im watching this thread to

i just bought this game on account of me never beating it. and since fear 2 comes out in a few weeks i figured i'd be doing myself justice by doing so; i just wish it were on steam instead of having to do retail ><

well i tried to turn of soft shadows but to no avail, and it seems the longer i run the game the more frequent these crashes become. its not stuttering or laggingor anything. running very smoothly with 100fps +
