You might also look at AAA mod installer for 4.08 and 4.09b, most people are holding off updating until the mods are compatable. AAA 1.1 allows 6DoF for Track IR and Freetrack but it will not work with the new patch, this is one of many mods that make Il-2 more immersive:

I'm really enjoying x-plane for those trans-Atlantic space flights and landings. I used the Viper MKII plane addon and landed @ KEDW just a bit above mach 1.

It's not easy flying using that camera angle. too bad audio is out of sync, too..

Oh, I found the force feedback option in there today also. I forgot all about it for a good two weeks.

Needless to say, G940 and FF is awesome. Earlier the plane was alot more direct and twitchy.

The more I get used to it, the better it gets. The force feedback works great. Note that I'm still noob-ish so I don't really have any other stick to compare with. You have all the functions you'll need on it and they are where they should be.

Not much more to add except I'm glad I bought it. This setup will stay in my service until it breaks down completely.
