I got COD4 to run on punkbuster enabled servers by A: going HERE and selecting the PBsetup. Put that in your C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\pb folder and run it...Should be self explanatory. B: going HERE and following the walkthrough...HOPE IT WORKS!!

You don't need to put the pbsetup in the actual cod4 folder. You can run it from the desktop, since when you add a game it asks you were the install is anyways.
I just have a folder called games on my G drive, and PB setup sits in that. Then all my games are installed into sub folders with the name of that game. F.E.A.R. , COD, etc. And I always install demos into a folder named Demos.
