For those of you having problems:
__________________1. General Problems/Crashes: Solution 1: Make sure your system is sufficient (Obvious, but some people still try to run Crysis on a Pentium II) Solution 2: Install the 1.2 & 1.21 patches Solution 2 1/2: (If Crysis hangs upon changing any setting) Reinstall Crysis, and only update to 1.2 ( NOT 1.21). Solution 3: Install the latest version of DirectX, sound card drivers, and the latest non-beta graphics card drivers. Solution 4: Lower your overclocks. Crysis can be very picky, especially with graphics card overclocks. Solution 5: Go to the bin folder of the version you want to run (bin32 for 32-bit, bin64 for 64-bit: usually C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\bin32 or bin64), and double click on Benchmark_GPU. Let it run through a time or two, and try to boot Crysis. 2. Vista/7 Specific Fixes: Solution 1: Right click your Crysis shortcut, and go to properties. Select the Compatibility tab and select Run as Administrator. Solution 2: Go to C:\Users\(Your Username)\My Documents\My Games\Crysis (or Warhead, whichever you're troubleshooting). Delete the game.cfg file, and the game.cfg backup file, if it exists. 3. 64-bit Specific fixes (try the above fixes as well): Solution 1: (If the game made the shortcut) Right click on the shortcut and go to properties. If in the target, it says bin32, change it to bin64. Solution 2: (If you made the shortcut) You've probably linked to crysis64.exe in the bin64 folder. You have to link to crysis.exe in the bin64 folder. Just a small list so people don't have to go through what I did. I'll add more as I find them.

When I had trouble booting Crysis with Windows 7 I just deleted the .cfg file in My Games and it booted up fine. Something to consider also.

A hang means that the program becomes unresponsive to mouse or keyboard input. It's just a synonym for freeze.

Yeah, I'll add that to the list. Thanks!

No problem! I updated the list to be easier on the eyes. I'm going to be looking for some more solutions in the next week as well. If anyone has a question about Crysis, feel free to ask.

Well ok, but there's loading hang and in game hang. Sometimes people have issue's with it loading to 99% and then not starting. Tis why I asked.
