I used to play ogame back in August and got into it hardcore for a couple weeks, but after being completely obliterated by some random a-hole for no apparent reason who was about 100 times more powerful than I really just ticked me off and I quit. Competitive gameplay like that does not interest me one bit, especially when one is at a huge disadvantage and can do nothing about it.

Ogame implanted a protection system now. Superior players cannot attack players who are weak, only those within their ranking range. I'm not sure of the range though. It's called Noob Protection. XD
