I got this game in a bundle with a madcatz fight pad. After playing a month I'm so addicted that I decided to get a arcade stick. I got a madcatz SE fight stick just for this game and it's my first ever arcade stick.It feels good but i keep losing online and will continue to lose until I get used to the joy stick.

Yeah it'll take a month or two to fully get used to the stick, but once you are used to it, you'll never go back to pad and your execution will become more solid.

Anyone able to run this in Windows 7 RC? I love the RC, everything about it, only I can't get a smooth 3d performance. Is this a common thing? I'm using my sig-rig, and BLAZED through the game with everything maxed out on XP Pro. Framerates are about half of what they were in XP, and there is no fluidity. Even the sound quality is crap. Strange.

Would appreciate a link or two if this is a common thing. Google didn't yield much. Maybe just a driver issue? I'm using the current, 190.62...terrible performance for 3d.

Dude, I run RC 7220 with no problems. Like you on XP, my rig is lightening fast on this game, with fps @ 60Hz constant with everything maxed out.

My first thought was that maybe you are playing online? There are often problems with the framerate when playing with a bad connection between two players, but I assume that you are referring to whole game performance i.e. in arcade mode as well?

Have you tried rolling back on your graphics drivers? sound issue is wierd too.

btw i agree Win 7 is ace.

Spare a thought for those stuck on the analogue stick of the Xbox360 controller.

I'm up to G2 and getting pwned. I know how to do the awesome combos FADC -> ultra and all that, but just can't pull them off consistently online I think possibly due to the controller i'm using.

Chris, maybe it's an AMD/ATI thing. That's the most significant difference between our rigs. I'm sure the drivers will catch up eventually. Gah. Bummer though, that whenever I'm gonna play SFIV I need to swap HDs.
