Thanks for the suggestions, looked over everythign cpu today and from what I see the i5 is the smart choice for cost/performance and not holding your gpu back like more and more ppl seam to be noticing with arma2. I did think about the i7-870 but tbh theres just not enough gain with HT for the cost to justify it.

Ive updated my profile spec, anything with (soon) is on the shoping list... if anyone has further advice that would be great via pm, since this is a bit OT even tho the build is aimed at arma2.

for me, where wasn't a big price difference between i7 and i5 because my CPU was $200 and my mobo was $170. If I'd gone i5, i would have went w/ the 750 and 4gigs of ram instead of 6. so i may have saved around 90 bucks or so...
I wanted the 16x by 16x crossfire for the future though... even though it probably won't make much of a difference.

I was more leaning that way until i saw some benches posted showing the 5850 i believe losing only 1% performance when running x8 instead of x16.

Who knows how much that will change with mature drivers... but currently not worth the extra investment cost for me.

Can someone point me in the direction of the benchmarking option in the full version?

Googleing tells me how to do it with the demo but that dont seem to work with the full version. :/

Since i own steam, I downloaded the pbo file and put it in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2\Missions
