Civilization 4: Colonization

Its standalone dont need the rest of Civ4 for it and its a modern version of the classic game that let you colonize the new world in the 1600's

an if you liked Company of Heros. id suggest Dawn of war 2.
+1 to DoW. Such a great game, and some real nice graphics for an RTS.

-1 for Starcraft, such a boring game, all the game play is the same and it always seems so gimmicky.

Some info on Dawn of War: If you get all the campaigns you get access to 9 different races which all have quite unique characteristics (unlike say Age of Empires).

You NEED to play StarCraft if you haven't done so already. SC2 is coming out later this year and it will definitely be the game of the year.

Also I picked up Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 2 not too long ago and it was awesome. It's like RTS and RPG at the same time. Very similar to company of heroes.
