Hi guys,
__________________I normally turn off HDR in TF2 because I don't really care for it, plus it gives me a nice performance boost. Just recently though, I have noticed that when I go back into the game the HDR setting sometimes turns itself back on. It's really annoying to have to turn it off everytime I use the game. Does anyone here know to permanently turn it off and keep it from changing back? I would post this on the steam forums, but for some reason, my account has yet to be activated. ![]()

Check your launch options to see if your DirectX version is being changed. Right click on TF2 -> Properties -> Set launch options. If you see either -dxlevel or -autoconfig, remove them. Another option is to add "+mat_hdr_enabled 0" and "+mat_hdr_level 0" to your launch options.

It's all off the top of my head after playing CS: Source for way too long
I'm sure a quick Google will turn up some results.
