O.K. I was wondering 2 questions: does x - fire adversly impact
your framerates, and does it support 64 bit? Does it intergrate with AIM? I am asking about the chat program not the ATI dual card.

Its not going to make a difference in frames at all. Running it on Windows 7 64 atm.

correct - just think of x64 as an extension of x86 (32bit) - most things will still work perfectly

It wont impact your framrate at all. I know it supports 64bit and I think it is in alpha stage with AIM support.

![]() As for the question, no xfire doesn't affect frames at all. Infact most of the time it sits in the background. And when it does come up - it overlays the game, so really it isn't doing much to interfere with any rendering.

As they say, no frame rate decrease. AIM is being implemented, I dont quite know how well its working. Definitely try it. Its a very nice program to have, I use the FPS counter instead of fraps now since I always have xfire running anyway. I too run it on Vista X64.

Its really annoying how you cant sign into 2 separate clients though with AIM, you'll get spammed messages out the rear by the client.

it works, never impacts frame rates, used to run it on an athlon XP 1700 and played CSS and it didnt make my FPS any worse than it already was
