best graph settings for Crysis ?
I started playin Crysis yesterday, really nice, i seen that in the graphics settings when i want to use the highest its in grey i cant use it ?
I believe it has 4 levels, low-medium-high-very high ? I used 1440-900 with all on high, with AA x2, got about 45fps , felt about right Is the AA really good to use, or is it matter of taste ? I tried 8xAA but it seriously reduces the fps, and does give a different view, less sharp i thought. o and what does V-Sync actually do ? worthwhile ? thx by  has any1 allready shot one of his teammates , on purpose or accidentally, what happens if you do, or cant it be done, i am sort of tempted lol ??

In order to get Very High, you need DirectX 10, unfortunately, XP only supports DirectX 9. AA is a matter of taste.

ah i see, i did notice that after patching it did say directx 9, although i had directx X installed for xp before, does that function ok , if i re-install it ?

Many features of very high settings can be activated in dx9 as well. Pretty much the only thing that cant be done is object motion blur.
__________________You can activate some very high settings with the console. Type: con_restricted 0 Then you can use r_sunshafts 1 r_usePOM 1 Thats what I always do.

Run CCC, makes it look tons better and smoother
http://www.incrysis.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=23117 I'm using CCC level 5 on my rig, 1680x1050 no AA with 30ish fps. It also comes with the TOD (time of day) mod which makes the sunrise look realy sweet.
