Wow, this sucks...I better backup today. I'm loving this game, but would hate to lose all my progress in that way. They better patch this soon!

Great tips...I'm gonna start backin' up my save file before it happens...(I bet someone'll goin' insane if LVL 50+ skill points lost after workin' on countless hours to build that obviously)

Although I'm just started up the game today...spend an hour or two just reached LVL 5 for me...L@L

I never had this issue, and ive got a lvl 50, lvl 12 & lvl 10 char.
50 has faced 2 playthroughs by now. Guess i'm lucky!

Hello, thanks so much for offering help in this.
For some reason I can't find the PM system in the forum (I'm also new. Sorry.

I just leveled up from Level 21 to 22, there is 1 skill point there right now.
So sorry to trouble you, but I myself have tried using a Hex editor but I kept getting corrupted savegame.
