Dawg, your rig ain't gonna run GTA IV.


Mine wipes the floor with yours and it struggles with GTA IV.......and that's before GTA IV tries to assassinate it.

even tho you're ignoring his Q, you're 110% right. Completely bottomed out and @ 1280x720(even 640x480 was choppy) on an e2180 and a 3850 the game is essentially unplayable. 1920x1080 on a 3.3GHz e4400 and a OC'd 4890 the game was unplayable unless most things were turned way down. Even w/ my X3 @ 3.6 and an OC 4890 Med-high w/ all the sliders turned down was choppy, unlocking my X3 to an X4 made the game playable w/ some eye candy.

In conclusion: Even if hell froze over, pigs flew, and Legendary actually can play crysis, GTA4 will not run even the least bit smoothly on Legendary's machine.

GTA4 should say:

Minimum System Requirements for 30+ingame FPS maxed out @1680x1050+
Core i7 @3.0Ghz
6Gb DDR3
GTX260/ATI 4870 or higher
Windows 7

You know they should really include the that info in regards to FPS along with a chart for the various FPS levels. I mean the info should be improved given its current status as "unhelpful".

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

My awesome MS Paint skills, and this graph is pretty accurate judging by all the benchmark results i have seen on GTA Forums.
