I recently installed my wireless receiver for the 360 controller. I just used it on Batman Arkham Asylum and WOW its so much fun! I can't wait to try it with Resident Evil 5! Any other games that are good with it?

Plenty of them. Comes down to personal preference, but any Windows game that is essentially a console port (to PC) will run with a controller well. There are exceptions and game modes that are easier with a Mouse+Keyboard, but like I said it's personal preference.

I saw an army guy controlling a prototype military tracked robot, and he ws using an Xbox 360 controller to control it.

I guess that if something is engineered to withstand little kids, it is also suitable for war.

The controllers are solid but I think the layout stinks. I hate the asymmetrical thumbstick positions. PS3 controller feels much better to me

Before you go on a fanboy spree, I happily own and play on both consoles.

I also own both consoles (PS3 and Xbox)

I hate the PS3 controller because:

1) Thumbsticks are too close and don't feel right
2) X, O, ^, [] buttons hurt my fingers on racing games after half an hour or so.

Xbox controller feels much nicer to me. XD
