Default Will Ghostbusters work in the 64-bit version of Windows 7?

I recently downloaded Ghostbusters from Direct2Drive.com, tried to install it, and then I got this error:

So long story short, I e-mailed Direct2Drive, they told me to e-mail Atari for this specific type of support, Atari never replied (it's been over 2 weeks), so Direct2Drive took a shot at it. They failed and then gave me a refund concluding that it's not compatible with my operating system.

So, is it incompatible with the 64-bit version of Windows 7? I could've sworn a friend of mine had no problems installing his copy in 64-bit 7 (build 7100 even).

I'm sitting here with a freshly purchased, unopened copy of Ghostbusters that I bought from the store waiting to find out. hehe

So I'm feeling up to installing this. Should I open it and go ahead? I mean, will this definitely work with the 64-bit version of Windows 7?

It worked fine here. I too have a retail copy.
Atari is typically bad with support. I had to send them a message for their Alone in the Dark not working on the PS3 for me. They never responded.

At least you got a refund.
