Default Need help with Mass Effect

I bought this game on steam a few days ago...and it when I run it, it seems my resolution is not available. Is this normal, and are there any work arounds if it is? My resolution is the one in my sig.

You need to use the launcher. Go into the drive where you installed it. Go into programs, go into the steam folder. Go into steamapps, common, mass effect, then the "masseffectlauncher.exe" [*:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\mass effect]. Then on the left side there should be something called "configure" click on that and it will open the config panel. then go to "video", You have set the res and settings that you want, Then save settings under the "Mass Effect" tab at the top of the config.

Cool never hurts to ask. I remember when I first got the game and thought I had to play at 1280x800 until I found the config utility.
