47FPS is still more than playable. Quit QQing because your E-peen has been stunted and play the game like a normal person. If you absolutely, 100% have to have 60FPS or more, turn the AA down a bit. You don't need more than 4x anyways. This isn't rocket science, dude. It's pretty damned simple.

MW2 is newer anyways, so it's bound to be a bit tougher on hardware than it's predecessor.

The 9800 GX2 was only like 30% faster than the ancient 8800 Ultra. Around 50fps sounds about right imo. It's almost 2010 now... and games are clearly more demanding. Plus, you're maxing it out on 1920x1200, quite a high resolution for it, SOOO...

um MP in cod4 is majorly crapped down for better performance.

Set the cod4 sli profile to mw2. crank it down to 4xAA, there's barely a visual improvement from anything higher than 4xAA anyhow. Also, anything better than 4xAA is very hard to do with a Nvidia 512mb card in a modern game.

Disable SLI. That should tell you if its using both GPU cores. MP always runs better than SP in most games

SLI profile for CALL OF DUTY MODERN WARFARE 2

Instal latest nHancer .
Create new profile and put executable from COD6 sp an mp in the executables.
(you find these in the steam folder - steamapps - common - call of duty modern warfare 2)

SLI = Hybrid sli mode =1
SLI MODE= 4-way-AFR , mark 10 , 13 , 22.
Enhancements , mark Ambient Occlusion = 00000004:CoD:Warfare.

If i do this i got 160FPS- 310FPS on my system all max out at 1920x1200 4xAA.

Hope this helps the ones with SLI system or a gtx 295.

I just tried it, now I can get 60 fps in the beginning mission, just looking at the military base, but in the next it's still 45 - ish.
Where do you get 160 do you just stare at the desert?

What's your fps during the 2nd mission, the one with the bridge layer,
when all the planes start flying and everyone engages in a shootout?

I don't know where people got that it doesn't use more than one card.

It uses both of my cards and loads them at 90+% each.
