__________________help ideas what do i do? iv turned to minimum so hopefully no condensation have to wait and see....but my temps obviously not great.

You have to wrap it in insultaing material i have heard.. Get some pipe insultaion and some silica gell to soak up moisture.

Put grease in the socket and neoprene on the back of your mobo and around the socket, and don't forget the conformal...
...You can get the condensation proofing materials from Danger Den ..Insulation Parts...Swiftech Condensation Proofing ...Condensation Proofing ...Condensation Prevention ...Condensation Prevention

![]() Easy fix I did mine, little silicone around socket and some neoprene cut out to apply as wella s a little on the back of the board where the cpu is to keep the transfer of cooling down. I got condensation on my techs today as well as the new HS, I am running a q6600 at 1.56 and 3.6 oc (1.47 aftrer vdroop). I know the v's are high but theres no real solution aside of taking it out and sending it to someone to do the vdroop mod. But the temps are in control and Ill have a new cpu in a year anywase. ![]() die electric any autoparts store, silicone or thermax same or home depot and neoprene from a knee brace or old wetsuit. Take the HS off hte board and spray it with a clear laquer or enamel. It keeps the HS metal from being exposed and increases the insulation index keeping it from building condensation so easy. I used Krylon clear and it worked perfect...

Yeah it should not cause condensation at all.

well it does.....apparently if you have temps lower than ambient and humidity in the air then you must get condensation something to do with dew point??
