Default best peltier watt and block for x1900??

thinking about trying to fit a maze 4-1 gpu block but is 80watts gonna cut it? i have a meanwell 320-12 i can dedicate to it so perhaps a higher spec/watt 40mmx40mm will suffice?

any thoughts?

peltier for your x1900 is overkill by way much. people don't even use peltier on their 8800 gtx's. at most, straight watercooling will give you excellent results.

welcome to OCN by the way!
please fill out your system specs!

lower temps? yes, point? none
the difference between that and water is not needed, with a good water system it will be plenty cool enought for overclocking, you will raise the rest of your temps using a tec btw

On the regular Maze TEC block the only spec's I saw for it were it could be used with a 40x40mm TEC...Maze TEC

The Swifty 60 TEC block comes with a 188W TEC so I would go bigger then just a 80W for sure...Swiftech MCW60-T™

I found these 158W 40x40mm for cheap.....158 Watt Peltier

Just make sure the base of the block will completely cover a 40x40mm TEC....
