YEAH! Coolits 30% off trade in! I got a!
Got a little to spend and parts to trade to them. BTW: I have been Beta testing on the Freezone Elite for a month or so now and I can attest that it works stellar and thats the reason Im going to use another coolit product. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Being that Im OC'n the crud outa my 8800gts I figured I probably should get a cooling system for it as well as with 14k 3dmark06 being close Im going to have to pull out the stops to get it there. I got 3,9ghz on my quad with my freezone cooling it and the only limit to my 4.2 is my NB pipes. I need to do a bolt mod. (yes bolt not volt). So the "I got a?" Is which is it gonna be.... I have a cosmos case coming in next week so Ill have the room for the boreas. We make the decision and Ill post a pick of it installed!!! As well as one of me with a "lookey what I got!". ![]() Anyhow I am deciding either to get a dual tech GPU cooler or just get a Boreas and cool it all!!! ![]() http://www.coolitsystems.com/index.p...tpage&Itemid=1 For that much off its worth a try,,,,, Get rid of some old cracked out cooler ( I got a couple of those!) for a new one! Its like christmas.... I have another cooler here so I might as well get some off and make it worth it and as well as the freezone cools I cant go wrong. Which way though! BOREAS (The KING of beasts!} ![]() OR FREEZONE SLI (fits in front drive bays so its outa the way) All temp are prime 95 small ftts 4 core runs/ cpuz to watch voltage fluctuation on my board as well as guru to monitor base temps with core temp as well. Temps: -------------bios/cpuz-------- speed ----Voltage ----Idle------------ load 3.4ghz - 1.46/1.38 - 9/12/9/13 - 42/45/42/45 3.6ghz - 1.56/1.49 - 13/18/13/17 - 55/59/55/59 3.8ghz - 1.66/1.56 - 22/26/22/25 - 62/66/62/66 3.9ghz - 1.69/1.61 - 26/30/26/29 - 66/70/66/71

So what kind of temps were you getting on the quad at stock, 3.8, or what ever you sampled it at.

Boreas can be ordered by itself and custom plumbed for your application, I dont run sli so I asked about that.
SLI mounts in 2 5 1/2 drive bays with the tecs on the cards directly if I remember correctly giving it direct cooling. Testing is Prime 95 small ftt (yes all 4 cores), cpuz and guru to monitor NB and board temps as well. Temps are now in first post!

Hi Folks,
I have a cat in the bag that has been dying to be let out. I work for CoolIT and have been reading this forum to both learn more about the industry, our competition and of course get advice from the EXTREMELY knowledgeable people that frequent overclock.net I want to thank Bullcrew for his diligence in passing on info from our website to eyes that otherwise may not have seen it. He has in fact been beta testing the Elite for us and has been getting great results. So, thank you Mr. Bullcrew! ahem 4.2? /nudge ![]() Although his info is usually bang on, I think he mistakenly linked you to the wrong picture above. The picture he posted is of the Freezone SLI chiller and in fact, not the DDB (dual drive bay) solution he referred to. I've attached a couple of pictures for reference. The DDB as its name implies fits in any two open 5 1/4 inch bays and is intended to cool SLI/Crossfire setups. The Crossire setup implements the R600 reference series blocks we designed in conjunction with ATI and the SLI setup features GPU cold plates with TEC's bulit in. We just use the radiator to cool the hot side of the TECs Either DDB solution will retail for 300.00 USDThe info about the Boreas is correct, were going to offer it as a stand alone, or as a package w/ the TJ07. Thanks to the input and advice I have recieved right here, we are also going to offer all of our products as DIY kits so the habitual tinkerers can get parts they need without the ones they don't. Finally, we have also announced the CoolIT "Chill Out" trade-up program.which offers discounts of up to 30% on all of our new products both retail and custom for trade-in of your old cooling hardware. More information is available (SORRY) here So, thank you for your support and infinite computer wisdom. Feel free to direct any questions to barry.reicker@coolitsystems.com Thank you overclock.net members! -Barrolde
