Default tec load 59c

idle, 5c, load, 59c

i must not be opowering the tec enought lol, 320w on a 450w psu with 22a on 12v rail, im running it on 12v

my e6600 at 3.6ghz, with 1.51v, 1.49 after slight droop, but rock solid

nice idle, but biiiiiig delta idle/load. you need more radiator capacity. but you probably already knew.

Even if you have a 240+ rad, I don't think the maze 4 block is the ideal choice to remove all the heat. All of the better blocks(gtx/fuzion) have many points coming up in the middle for more surface area to transfer the heat to the water. The maze 4 only has a "rippled" part on the block = not as much surface area and you are putting the heat of the cpu+ the heat of the tec on it.

Edit: ah my question of what tec was soo stupid lol. I thought you meant the tec was drawing 320 watts. I get it that its a 320 watt tec overall now though lol. Guess I'm a little slow atm.

320w TEC on a 240 rad? That dog won't hunt.

you could try adding a very large res to your loop...in a effort to keep your water temps down...But more cooling is in order for your water.

edit- also, how come coretemp doesnt go below 5c? my temps drop to 0c idle

What is your flow rate? Im guessing its a combo of the block not exchanging enough heat and possibly not enough flow through the block? If your water temps are stable on both sides of the loop (water 33C?) and your pushing 59C+ on the cpu.....

Provided the number and clock of your CPU it seems something is off for that kind of delta under load. On the kit I use i get better numbers and would expect your load temps to be at least 5C if not 10C better then mine..
