Default Modding a ChillTec cooler?

So, is there any way to up the tec's output to a constant level (with wiring or anything like that) so that it works at a constantly cool thing instead of just barely running.... anyone understand what I mean? Like connecting the wiring to a molex adapter or something?

no, and you wouldn't need to because despite them saying that it is "load" variable, it really means that it is temp variable. The more heat generated the more it will just run the TEC.

Yup, TECs have to be adjusted for the load. Otherwise, they generate more heat as they get turned up and temperature rise.

In addition, if you want a TEC running full power non-stop... you need to insulate for condensation.

what duckie said plus one more thing.

The ChillTEC is not CPU load controlled even though it implies that it is, I've had one, there is no way for the system to know when you are under load and when you aren't, it reads a cold side temperature, when the cold side temperature starts to rise it applies more voltage to drive it down, once you reach a certain point it simply runs full throttle no matter what.

so there is no way to wire the tec itself straight to the psu or something, like with a voltage regulator or so? I just want it to run the tec a bit harder

There is.... but for all the reasons above... you shouldn't.

running it "harder" will only net you worse results as the cold side will stop cooling and start heating. How is that going to work?
