Hey guys I have a Thermaltake Kandalf... since it was my first experience with WC seems to be a pretty good set up. It has 3 fans and a large radiator. I did upgrade the pump and resivor and went to a Saphire CPU block. I have my QX9650 running everyday at 4.0 temps at full load seem to hit around 59C-61. I tried to bump it to 4.4 but temps jumped to 71C instantly. So obviously not going down that road.
__________________Here's my question do i just have an average WC setup?? Should i be seeing lower temps with my current OC? I'm reading up on the peltiers and they do interest me but I don't know how i feel about all the insulation....sounds a bit much?? Well just looking for some suggestions. I read the few posts above mentioning the Tec cooler sounds pretty cool but again I really want to have the ability to OC to 4.4 maybe even higher if possible. So money aside what would you guys reccomend for a dependable low temp set up?? Thanks so much!! Scoob

TBH, it sounds like that thermaltake rad is limiting you. I bet if you just dump that rad, get a BIX360 you'll be perfectly set.

I use a 360GTX and I love it. I would be very sceptical about case-included wc solutions. You can probably pull a good 4-5c off your temps with a decent custom watercooling setup. And its fun!

I'm not sure what the rad is that came with your case, let me go peak out newegg and take a gander.
*Edit It looks like the only thing really holding you back is the thickness. The GTX rad is pretty thick, looking at mine I'd say its probably 2 inches thick. You could look into the stealth 360 from HWlabs though. *Edit And remove one of the 5 1/2" bay covers to run your tubes through...don't know how you'd open your doors though, lol. Lots of extra slack I guess? *Edit And are you using the coolant that came with the case? Lose the crappy coolant and you might drop a C or 2 under load.

Dont think the thickness will be an issue however the to nipples comming off of my current rad go veritcal out of the rad... the ones i'm looking at that you recommend are comming out pointing towards my tower =(

Maybe if you lose one of those 5 1/4" bay covers and just have your tubing go through their. Just leave yourself a little extra so that nothing bad happens when you have to open your case front lol.
