"Another owner that was able to overclock his Q6600 to 3.6GHz. It idles at 118F and never gets over 145F under heavy load. When it was factory clocked it never got over 100F. A great cooler for someone not wanting to worry about a leak from water cooling."

This guy is lying though his teeth. Either that or he is using Nvidia software for temps and an old version of prime 95

I would buy this if it was cheaper, as I am curious as to how it would perform against my current cooler.

I would like to hear from people who own this cooler and the temps they achieve

Simple answer if you want a heatsink.

TRUE = Thermalright Ultra 120 extreme its around 75 bucks with a fan and shipping, and is the best thing besides WC.

I know, I just couldn't stomach $75 for a cooler... I went with the Sythe Zipzang, and I'll go WC this summer probably!

I don't understand if you can't dish out $75 for a HS that rivals the WC kits, and you want to do WC'ing, you would have to go custom and spend $200-300.
