And yeah I guess that's all that can be done at this point. I've had some bad experiences with Asus in the past too, I think I should have just gotten that Blackops.....

I always liked Asus, till it took 2 RMA's to get a mobo that worked..
...I'm done with them for awhile, I'll get over it and try them again, but right now I'm still sucked up about it.. ..

Day 4: Putting stuff in the case
I figured I'd keep the build going until I get a new MB. Now you guys get to see how all this stuff is going to fit ![]() Keep in mind that this is a temporary case (until next summer), so I'm not going to be going crazy with mods. Syrillian's gonna be making me a kickass case then (His acrylic work is just plain awesome). This is the case ![]() I had to make sure that this thing would be able to hold 8 hard drives, a cdrom, fan controller, and still have 3 bays empty at the bottom for the pumps to fit. ![]() ![]() You can see how there's an extra drive bay way at the top, blocked off by the front panel. ![]() Good thing we don't need to get to the hard drives from the front. So from top to bottom, the drive bays will be: (2) 4 HDDs in cage (1) CDROM (3) 4 HDDs in cage (3) Empty, with pumps behind them I still don't know how I'm gonna fit the fan controller, probably at the bottom since its not very deep so the pumps can still fit behind it. ![]() Too bad I'm gonna have to give up the blowhole fan to get it to work. ![]() Good thing the PSU still has room to spare! ![]() Underneath the top panel I had a USB hub hidden, made to work with internal headers to get more ports (and to have internal bluetooth!). This is where the secondary PSU is going to go. ![]() One rad installed ![]() ![]() Two rads and the res - ready to go! ![]() And just as I go to put the second PSU in, it turns out it doesn't fit . I'll have to think of something for it.

Looking good!!..
..Are you going to have your rad fans pulling and pushing into the case, or just pushing? Thats going to be pretty neat looking even if it is just as a interim case...EDIT: I see now they will be pulling into the case on part of it...I forgot about the fan matrix on that side panel...

Yeah that side panel kicks ass, I think this is the only regular sized tower that can hold rads like this without any modding!

wont you get much better temps if you suck the ambient air in though your rads as apposed to blowing the hot air in your case though your rads?

Besides, the air from the rads doesn't even get warm. Hell, the rads themselves don't even get warm!

Ok I was thinking you had it set up like
pc/hot air---> side of case---> fans---> rad ---> ambient but you have it ambient---> rad---> fans---> side of case....pc No matter what, that is a sick setup...I love all the fun stuff on the front of the case and those rads are to die for! You are gonna have a SICK rig when you get your custom case!!! Way to build it man!
