This is a different thread now. It was a question but I figured out what was wrong. So if you look at some of my posts, I did something different this time and people like Ultra and Zip are kind a helping me with this and so are other people.

Did you notice if the heatsink base/heatpipes got really hot?

No because I had 2 92mm fans, one in front and the other on the back and they both do 110cfm..

See I have 2 chiltecs and one is in my computer with a 100w tec and the temps on that is at 20c and the one outside of my case with the same set up is at 22c. The one with a lower temp is on my CPU and the other isnt even touching a CPU.

Yeah the problem is atleast from what I have found is that heatpiped coolers have a maximum amount of heat that they can transfer. You probably had 150w of heat being dumped. When I tested my 136.8w TEC at 12v with an SI-128 SE the fins weren't hot but the base was...the heatpipes couldn't hold up with the heat load since you had them stacked they would have been able to achieve a higher delta T so you might not have noticed the heat on the coldside. Most TEC's shouldn't go past 100C.

If it has been cooked I'd say it wouldn't work at all. Just plug it into the power for a few seconds while holding it in your fingers. If one side gets hot and the other doesn't get cold it's probably broken.

Ok Its all good and it works. Now what I did was I put the 50w TEC back in the Ultra ChilTec with a straight 12v and I places the 100w TEC on the bottom of the cooler plate where the CPU sits and I placed a Koolance Intel LGA 775 Spacer on top of the 100w TEC that is only getting 7v and I am going to place that set up un my CPU soon after some testing and right now I hit -4C in temps!!! Its building up alot of ice. Ill take some pictures of the Ice build up soon. Here are some pictures of the testing. ZIP TIES ARE FOR TESTING!!! Thanks

looking forward to it... you'd better hope your CPU isn't putting out much heat since at MAX it could only move 100 watts but you've under voted it so it will be less than that.
So the LOAD temps will be interesting

Just the man I wanted to talk to. Im running a Q9400 95w and my question is where is the heat of the CPU going to go? Is it going to go through that spacer then the TEC and then the cooler? Or is it not going to go anywhere and mess up the CPU? What do you mena by:" you'd better hope your CPU isn't putting out much heat since at MAX it could only move 100 watts but you've under voted it so it will be less than that. "
