Default Can I Do This?

Can i put this plate in between my Typhoon and my CPU ( http://www.frozencpu.com/products/im...x_Peltier.html )? If so do i just wire it to a peripheral on my PSU? What temps will this give me? Is that all i need?

I wouldn't. It's supposed to be for watercooling I think? Could be wrong.

"Peltier: Also known as Pelt, TMB or TEC. This is an electronic device which, when an electric current passes through it, gets very hot on one side, and very cold on the other. The cold side is (typically) 69C colder than the hot side. Thus the colder you can keep the hot side, the colder the cold side will be. Used with water cooling, these can keep your CPU well below 0C"

Actually I have no experience with these so wait for another response :P

nooooooooooooooooooooo because this is made to work with water cooling and well the why pelters work is they transfer heat from one metal surface to another and one side is hot and one is cold not to mention that your cooler needs to dissipate over 550w of heat and yours can not do this. And guys tell him why he can not do this so he understands it not just shun him for it.

No!

The pelt uses energy to move the heat... so the cooler has to cool the cpu + the heat of the pelt.

If the cooler can't keep up with the cpu now, it wont do cpu+pelt

Although I bet when you first turn it on you will see freezing temps (for about a minute) then the cooler become overworked... if the powersupply doesn't pop from the extra 400W
