yeah, i love bolts... :P

for TEC i'd just make those longer and use nuts to secure the cold plate to it.

and yeah, if when i ever get/build a mill im definately gonna do something with recirculating cutting fluid...

im gonna see if i can make an acrylic top for this thing now. as i would really like to beable to see the inner workings of the block .. Im sure this will be a bad idea though cos of how flexible acrylic is .... so im sure im wasting my time.... it's all learning for me though
Ouch a whole square. I hate to say it but you all need a flea bay there. This guy ships world wide, it would probably be to expensive to NZ but you might want to check it out. He's always getting in odd sized lots that he sells pretty cheaply...Delrin Virgin white sheet 0.375 x 6 x 27.75 CNC (3.3F)

A o-ring would be good with acrylic if you can cut a groove for it.

If you end up using HDPE or Delrin automotive water pump gasket with a little red Permatex on each side makes a real good one shot gasket. You can get short rolls of water pump gasket here at the auto shops for a couple of dollars.

All metal blocks are nice, plus they would be great for a slush-box or salt-water aquarium chiller loop to.

I'm busy moving cross-country but as soon as things have settled a little, I'll definitely order one or two and replace all my CoolIT stuff with it/them.
