hand milled ! err NO .. i made my first chiller by hand and after doing it once i vowed id never do that again. it takes SO long

The black top above was wrong so i've made a new one.. with a place for LEDS . im more sure if people want LEDS or not but there you go anyway
This is made from 2 sheets glued together which is why it looks like it's got water marks .. dont worry later ones will be made from a single sheet

Looks nice.
The entire trick with a TEC block is minimum conduction between hot and cold blocks (bolts and such hurt your temperatures more then you imagine), while still providing ample pressure, and a flow pattern that allows complete cooling. I think it will work well. Nice machining. |
