That hit me 9 months ago (I have been doing my project 18 months.) when I realized that LN2 users were having problems with CPU sockets breaking/coming apart due to the cold, and as far as I know they didn't hit them with hammers !!! It was then I realized since they will probably never make CPU sockets out of anything else my project was a bit pointless but I have carried on as it is my project for myself and I have gone too far to just throw it all in the air.
That's why I say plastics don't really figure in excesssive/prolonged cold systems and I am trying to avoid it.

Well we will leave this for now...

I have now got everything except a method of cooling the CPU (other than stock cooler.)... I hope to get to a point where I can test by the end of the month to hopefully finish by Christmas...but I can sort out the CPU at a later date perhaps I will PM you next month..perhaps ultimately, next year, just having the base and block and doing the top myself.
