So I have reached the point where I want some better cooling and my water setup is bugging me. I recently redid the loop and I can't get all the air out so I bled the system and refilled it, same problem, wash rinse repeat.
Anywho I have removed all of my components from the case now and I'm wondering if I should part it all out and go for the Boreas unit. Will it be able to cool my 940 down to near ambient temps well? This would be for the CPU only. For reference my current loop consists of a HW Labs BIX 240, Panaflo L1's, Dtek Fuzion V2, and a MCP-655B with an EK rev 2.0 pump top.

Sometimes picking up the case and shaking it gently will help dislodge stubborn bubbles and air-pockets. Also, tilting from side to side and squeezing the tubes (not at the same time) will help.
As for the Boreas, you may have some issues with condensation and it is reported to be rather loud.

Dude, some of those pump tops suck!!! They don't bleed properly!
All you need to do is get a switech micro res and your system will be air free in a couple minutes. Trust me ,my old pump top resavoir had the same problem, now with the switech micro res my problems are solved. I think the boreas would cool great since it's tec cooler, but I have heard many problems and failures from Coolit products.

Oh, do you have a t-line or a resavoir? I just checked and the ek top isn't a resavoir top.
Either way I think you should try the micro res swiftech before you decide to sell your whole loop. Unless you want to give me your rad for $5! J/K

Well how loud is loud? I already disassembled my loop, but I can always rebuild it. I had a t-line installed because my Bitspower res started to, uhm, erode. If I had pics I would show but the bottom of the unit, which I thought was delrin but I guess I was wrong, started to fall apart. I have thought about doing the loop over again with clear tubing, a new res, and possibly stepping up to a HK 3.0 block.
I have never been a fan of the DTek mounting system for AM2, so maybe just moving to a different block would be better. Also I checked my pump and that seems to be working fine.

I feel like I also could just let everything go and just move to air. Maybe a Megatron with my Panaflos, hmm.

I am using 2x FreeZone Elites in series (can be seen as 1 Boreas) using a Swiftec MCP350 with a XSPC top-res. Running just fine and can cool down my 940BE @3737MHz with 1.47V no sweat.

Well I think I have decided to go with a megahalems with my panaflos and maybe next summer or so I will get some cash together for a single stage phase unit. Maybe we will all have hexacore or even optocore processors by then!
