Of cores it is 60$ for a top rang air cooler plus some descent fans.. that's money could be put away for a new CPU.

However buying stand stuff is boring . Everyone loves to push things to the limit and it doesn't matter if its cost efficient.

i suppose it boils down to what he means by "cost effective" If he wants to go TEC he;ll need a top rang air cooler at least so he should just start there and if he still wants more cooling then come back
