Default TEC on GPU

has anyone on here messed around with tec's on gpus? and also does a tec improve temps alot when used with a water chiller?

TECs work on GPU's yes only with watercooling. As for waterchillers if you used one in conjunction with a TEC it would improve temps yes but I doubt it would be worth it. Usually one wants to make the waterchiller with multiple TECs. As for how well it works I'll leave that task to someone else since I don't use TEC's on any computer parts.

ya i wouldnt expect it to be worth the effort, but i have nothing better to do lol

for multiple tec's do you mean like stacked on top of each other?

That i guess depends on what you define as worth it i guess and how much money your willing to spend. With VGA blocks you definitely want to make a chiller so you can use multiple TEC for better efficiency (COP). You could cool the water to 0c at LOAD if your prepared to do it right

NO you DONT want to stack TEC's you want them in parallel or next to each other

Im dying to know why you don't TEC, as you seem like one of the few people in the world that would do it right

that depends if you include the cost of the tools to make it. so ether $200 or $20,000

i intend on making a new super dooper one soonish . i got to finish my direct die water blocks first though
