Well... it's better than watching paint dry I suppose !!

I notice this section has shut tighter than a clam now the fresh crop of noobs has disappeared. XS is even worse.

Now we are having our usual autumn weather I can quit the garden a bit and try and get down the shed for a bit more project work.

NOT complaining....it was just an observation...really it was just me trying to work out what the impetus was...

It's just that people think they have a new and revolutionary idea and they don't really want to use the search feature. I've run across threads of the same thing about 20 times now.

HaHa.......Should of worn your shades! What didn't you expect? My natural good looks or that I'm a old coot? Wait, wait a minute, never mind, I doubt that I really want to hear the answer..

Oh yes, the old paint drying game, I know it well..

They come and go, the ones that get to me are the ones that buy a TEC and "then" want to design a system around it. Oh well most of them are really young. A few years ago it was mostly guys that just wanted to extend there WC'ing OC a little further. That's what TEC is really good for, if you already have the cooling gear it's not that much more money to play with TEC.

I didn't even really put out much of a garden this year, a few bucket plants was about it. I generally have a decent sized garden, I got a lot more fishing time in though!

I still haven't made a jacket and top for that hack saw block pin base. I just bought a really nice .5" thick 2.5"x12" piece of dead soft temper C110 to make it with, that ultra soft or soft temper is really nice to work with, just a little more gummy then the medium + temper.

I started sawing out some v-reg HS out of it, I have some 1/4" brass I can make the mounts with but I think I'll pick up some 1/8" brass for the mounts for them, they wont be so clunky looking and it will be easier to work them out of. Still a lot of saw work to go yet, but I do enjoy it. Maybe we'll both make a dent in our projects this winter..
