Default Radeon 4870, peltier with a cpu heatsink???

I have a 177watt peltier, a power supply to fully power it, and a 145watt heatsink that i will be putting a twice as powerful fan on, the heatsink also has heatpipes is a Phenom 2.5ghz heatsink. Now i was wondering if and how i could put this peltier on my asus radeon hd 4870 video card, so i can greatly overclock this, i already know very well about waterproofing and sealing peltiers, i'm just not sure on how to attach this heatsink on here? And before people go and say it, i do know that that peltier is going to put out more heat thann 177watts, but i am willing to put a monster fan on this heatsink noise is not a issue, but money is a huge issue. since i have no job to buy anything better than what i got. and i also do not mind doing something a little ghetto. and i won't be fully powering the peltier i'm gonna be giving it 13.4 volts at 25 amps instead of 15.5 volts that is rated for, and if need be for the amount of heat it produces i can get a lower volt setup

The heat side is going to be about 2-2.5 times the heat you are moving. Unless the gpu is only a 60 watts gpu which it is not. You are going to burn it all up.

Talk about flogging a dead horse....I commiserate with you honestly. I have lost my job for medical reasons so I not only have no money but it doesn't look like I will getting any on the horizon either.......
But you really have got to accept you qere diddled when you bought that TEC....you didn't get what you thought and the sellers are unscrupulous ********, I hate them....
But the bottom line is you aren't going to do much with this 177w of yours....

I don't know the output of a 4870 but as I understand things the slightly older cards had higher ratings than more recent ones. Even if that doesn't include your 4870....overclocking really increases the output megastyle and I would hate you to fry some parts of your PC when you can't afford to replace them

So I don't have the neccessary data to give a definate No I can only say in my opinion it won't be worth your while...if nothing else wait till you have some readies in case you fry something. You stand a good chance.

Undervolting also decreases the heat pump even going from 15.6v to 12v is probably going to go down to around 130w but that's only in the ideal conditions with perfect TIM and pressure of 150-300 p.s.i. etc you will most likely get less....

JESUS I have just read your post again the 177w wont take 25 amps.....I reckon it will draw 20 tops
