Yeah but you might end up with an unusable radiator too, in something like that you'd want a liquid to liquid heat exchanger and not a radiator.

I think I may end up getting another dual rad to throw in the loop. I think that may do the trick, because it seems like there is barely not enough heat dissipation with the fans at a level where you can still hold a conversation in the same room. If i crank them up to full jet speeds it seems to stay much cooler.

It was much improved over my 30c from the pre-tec days. Then I ran prime and it maxed out at 25c.

Temps where read at 3.64 Ghz (280x13). I will be shotting for much higher in the coming days.

I would like to thank all of you veteran members for all the knowledge I have been able to suck out of your informative posts/guides.

My loop:

Swiftech MCP655
XSPC 5.25" Bay
Stinger V8
Black Ice GTX360
6 x Scythe Ultra Kaze 3000

I have noticed that as the day has progressed my rad has gotten warmer, but coretemp is not reading any higher temps. Do you guys think my rad will be able to keep it running at these temps, or will it continue to get hotter?

I being a big forum noob forgot to take picture of the whole process but these are what I have of the after math.

Thanks
If i had the time id like to make you a new top plate ... actually when i think about it you might as well get a new block designed for a 62mm TEC in the first place. For more super cooling.

I wish i could throw more at it . Stupid thing will not last long enough to validate at 4.2, but it is soooo close. I think a new mobo may be in order.

at 3.64 it is set to 1.45 in bios, but in cpuz idling it is at 1.424

and yep it was with the tec. at 4 it could mess around and do stuff, but it only makes it half way through a spi 1m

new top plate. I am all for getting some more of your work .

How much will you be selling your blocks for. I was thinking about getting one to compare.

Side note:

Last night i made a huge noob tec mistake.
I recently changed to windows 7 and had not changed how long it takes to go to sleep. I ran up to the gas station to get some drinks, and came back and the computer was sleeping .... but the tec was still cranking away. I am not sure how hot it got exactly, but the middle tube on my V8 sounded like i was making tea, and the water was ready.

Luckily for me nothing broke when this shenanigan went down.

Needless to say a relay is on the way.

Yeah Man they will heat to boiling in no time. I knocked the wire loose on my pump once, just working around on something on my mobo, I had just walked into the other room for just a minute or so when I heard a loud "Pop" went back in there and water was dripping off the ceiling......Took a minute or so to realize that it had heated the water up and blown out my res plug. I'm just glad my rig was bare back on a mat, if it had been in a case it would of been a mess.

Heres a wiring guide I did for Crydom re-lays and the Swifty/DD type, if you need it...Relay Wiring - Overclock.net ... I like the solid state Crydom the best, the part # is in the pic, you can get them new on eBay for $10 or so.

I relay all my TEC,pumps and little side PSU's to my main one so it will all come on at once.

Cool! Thats a good one. They've gone up, I bought 3 a couple of years ago and I think they were $10-12 each. Still $18 bux for piece of mind isn't bad at all.
