A few weeks ago I got some of Ultrasonic2 fancy hot and cold plates. It took me a bit to put it all together and get my setup running, but today I finished it up and boot up to coretemp displaying a big fat 0c
. This was vary exciting. It was much improved over my 30c from the pre-tec days. Then I ran prime and it maxed out at 25c.Temps where read at 3.64 Ghz (280x13). I will be shotting for much higher in the coming days. I would like to thank all of you veteran members for all the knowledge I have been able to suck out of your informative posts/guides. My loop: Swiftech MCP655 XSPC 5.25" Bay Stinger V8 Black Ice GTX360 6 x Scythe Ultra Kaze 3000 I have noticed that as the day has progressed my rad has gotten warmer, but coretemp is not reading any higher temps. Do you guys think my rad will be able to keep it running at these temps, or will it continue to get hotter? I being a big forum noob forgot to take picture of the whole process but these are what I have of the after math. ![]() ![]() Thanks

I have 12v 300w meanwell that is running at 11.855 volts.
I am still working on finding the optimal voltage for it. Do you know of anyway to read if the temp is below 0, because it seems like it would be. It seems that coretemp will only go to 0 for me.

![]() I put a temp sensor on the cold and hot plates to give me an idea of what my temps are ... Does your motherboards sensor read sub zero ? mine does .. - 26c at idle really puts a smile on my face

I am thinking that mine does not, but my mobo is not really an 'enthusiast' mobo.
stupid thing limits me to 1.55 volts and has really bad vdrop, so no fun suicide runs.

Not bad temp's at all!..
..What TEC are you using? Thanks for the pic's!If your mobo will read sub-zero, Speed Fan will read it on a lot of Mobo's and if that doesn't work try Hardware Monitor, Mother Board Monitor (MBM) will work on some also. If your staying around 0C during general use your probably around -15-20C or so at idle.

I think it is a Model CP1-12730, but i don't remember if that is the exact one. It is from ebay though.
Thanks for the tips on the temp monitors, I will have to look in to those. Quote:

If your radiator continues to heat up, one solution would be to take the fans off of it and submerge it in an evaporative loop reservoir (bong/volenti, horizontal volenti, sock) Not so nice looking, but would keep your water temps down.
