Hello OCN im currently working on my project and need some advice. Its not running Phase change kinda the phase change is a reintegration system with a custom reservoir for antifreeze cooling basically phase change to cool liquid to cool pc it allows me to turn phase change on and off and still have cooling.
Here is my point i need to know what to use on the mobo to keep it insulated this system can cool to about -10C and i don't want water vapor to condense on my board. i may also cool my 9800gx2 with this so i don't know if that will need some form of isolation also.

welcome to the wonderful world of phase change, and the wizard of oz.
__________________and yes you will need insulation. I can sort of give you a guide for insulation your motherboard but insulation your gpu is nearly imposable. 2 main things needed for insulation your motherboard/gpu is liquid electrical tape(stops the condensation(if there is any) from contacting the motherboard) and neoprene insulation. here is the guide for insulation a motherboard. http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=176913 note that the electrical tape and neoprene(closed cell foam) is 100% removable without causing damage(unless your stupid and try to remove it with a hammer or something stupid like that lol!) you'll need to insulate your waterblock and tubing as well. there is rely no guide on that but i will supply pics on water chilling setups to give you an idea of what’s needs to be done. if you got any more questions feel free to ask. also forgot you will want to pack your cpu socket full of di-electric grease, the guide i posted explains that. also here is the water chilled pc gallery, g\it'll give ya ideas on what to do with your setup http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ad.php?t=30787

Thanks i have an idea about how to do the gpu. Since it is a gx2 they face inwards at the water block. All i need to do is encase it in something. I have heard of modeling clay being used but ill take the safe way and make 2 blocks of insulation and wrap them around it. then seal it with some duck tape. I will know the temp next week of the coolant as it circulates ill take the temp.
