Default The EVOCADE strikes back!!

hey every one im new here but i thought you might like to see my cascade

its back and its angry its been away
Case dimentions are L x 23" W x 17.5" H x 14"


1st stage
compressor: panasoinc (4ps164e) 16.4cc
Condenser: large moddified from ac unit
Danfoss tev: Tes2 00 orifice
Hx: 24 plate
danfoss in line filter and sight glass
temp range -40 to -50c
R507

2nd stage

compressor: toshiba (pg135x1cy) 13.5cc
Oil separator: AC&R s5580
high pressure cut off switch 350psi-off 250psi-on
captube 0.8mm 0.031" xxx"
High pressure gauge
2l expansion tank
spun drier/filter
duniek evap
4ft stanless braded suction line
temp range -90 to -105c
R1150
base and 1st + 2nd in place

24plate hx






the hx was clean'd and washed out with water then baked in the oven @200c for 40mins mmm tasty


twins

1st stage built and under vac right now

silly stupid extrnal txv with the extra pipe is a pita


its alive

1st tests of the 1st stage are good



the lagging was fun but the spray gule looks a bit gash



and this is how it really works the hx liquifying r290
gas in at the top liquid at the bottom : i took so many pic trying to get this shot lol but the damn censerd logo kept getting in the way lol



exspantion tanks done and fitted

the 2nd stage is under vac right now will see whats going on in the morning about 11.30 when i get up lol


well the 1st full run with the 1st and 2nd stage running

on 1st tests i did 50W 100W i tryd for 160W but the heat loader exploded and knocked the power off in the batcave





i then fixed the heat loader with overbrade and silicon


i then try,d for 160w

will do some more tomorrow i think the cap tube is a bit to long by about 3-4inch's

q8200,q9400,q6600,q9550,e8600and some p4's
i did have golds on hwbot for my e4400 but some git took them so im gona try and get the golds back

to late i did that on the last rendtion of evocade @ -94 e8600 6.1ghz 2.002v with a commando

hoping to get more from this chip now evocade is colder

nice aircon mod, one of the first cascade ones i have ever seen. usuraly people mod them into auto cascades.
