Default Is it the best choice?

Hello,
I have been doing a lot of research as of late on different ways to cool my PC as my current water cooling system died on me. I am a extreme gamer and want to be able to cool my PC the best I can.

I don't want to go L2n or DICE, and have been looking at submerging in mineral oil, and other water cooling systems. I came across the Phase Change and was looking at some commercial systems like the Prometeia Mach II GT. Is Phase Change the best way to go and if so, should I go commercial or build my own?

Sorry for the question that has most likely been answered many times over, but I couldn't really find what I was looking for.

Thank you in advance for your help.

The system this would go on is the one listed below.

-Brysky

I am pretty sure phase change is the same as dice and LN, something you don't want to use 24/7. If all youre doing is gaming, just put together a nice water cooling setup.

Phase offers incredible gains, if you want top performance, it is more then 24/7 usable in 95% percent of cases. However if you don't have the tools, find a builder on your continent. But it has its cost in electric bill (24/7 for a light system can be $20-30 a month).

Phase can be used 24x7 but depending on the size of the fans, compressor and enclosure it can be noisy...

Thanks for the quick replies, I game anywhere between 12-18 hours at a time and some times longer.

I was looking at the OCZ Cryo-Z but the only place I can find that sells is central computer and they don't ship it. When it comes to my computer spending money on it is not a problem.

You dont want the Cryo-z...

What are your expectations temp wise and what equipment are you using? I7 or the AMD in your specs?

If its an AMD I have a Single Stage I bought from RunMc that plays nice with a QX9650 with gaming temps of around -35c with a QX9650 SKT 775...clocked at 4.6ghz and 1.55 vCore.

I actually was planning on listing it soon on XS pm me if you are interested.

With an A64 X2 he is better off purchasing a $40 to $50 air heatsink and saving the rest of the money to upgrade his system down the road. K8 was a great core but in the end it will be holding you back even if you get it up do 3.4GHz or so on phase.

@NoL you were the one who suggested phase change but even you should know that K8 on single-stage is a coldbug nightmare.
