Default Bartx's phase

It's my second unit, this time with brand new rotary. Unit is almost finished, just need to braze whole pipes, suction line etc. to compressor. Aiming at -50c ~200w load, but we'll see.

Compressor - Teco KETC176 10755 btu
Condenser - 25x25x7cm, 2x Sanyo Denki 120x38mm 0,5A
Evap - stepper, 42 mm diameter, 40 mm tall, my production
XV - 2,4m 0,8 mm captube
Refrigerant - R290 for the beginning, maybe R507 soon
Baseplate - stainless steel plate 50x35 cm, 1,5mm thick

Looks great dude. Will like to see the finished product. Thats a beefy looking condensor you got.

One question, did you allready leak test the head unit, seeing how you got the mount and insulation allready going would suck to have to redo that if you had a leak? The brazing looks good though.

has this progressed any? Nice clean looking unit, and you sure do work wonders with copper. Can't wait to see what this actually does when charged up. I've got a phase fetish.

It was almost finished some time ago, but I have a leak so I decided to make a small rebuild. Slhx is out, I've made a small u-bend, some joints were rebrazed. In this week it should be done
