Resident Evil Help :(
Ok, seeing as my RAM has fallen out with me, i decided to carry on playing Resident Evil 4...
However... I put the disk in and everything looks fine.... But then, right before CAPCOM appears, everything turns black and white and stays in black and white.... Does anyone have any ideas of what this could be? The disk seems clean enough... MaK

What system are you playing it on?
EDIT: Never mind  Your PS2 MIGHT need a new dics laser but I could be wrong. Clean the laser first

Its on ps2, hence the Playstation section. Best thing I can think of is to check the lens, clean it with a computer lens cleaner. Same thing really.

Cheers guys...lmao...it was actually that the TV was trying to start the game in 60hz, which it doesn't support.
Set it to 50htz and now i am good to go....cheers for the help lads  MaK

 No fair, i knew the answer!my TV supports both modes, but when i use the frequency other than the normal one (50hz normal i think in the uk) but whenn i put it in 60hz it makes a high pitched buzzing/whining sound and the colours become really bright and flicker a bit like on crappy CRT's.

hehe, well thanks anyways mate...
Now all i gotta do is find some cheats for this damn game! somethin to make it a bit more fun...like a SUPER GUN!  MaK P.S. Anyone know any cheats?

I've played RE4 on both consoles. Nothing without hard work, I regret. Good luck, though. It gets to be fun after a while. BTW, have you run into the gigantic chainsaw maniac of redemption on Mercenaries, yet? Took me 4 days to beat it the first time. Cheers!
