Probably my favorite part of my ps3....
__________________I took the vob files of my dvds and converted them to mpg (uncompressed, not re-encoded) the end file are about 3gb-7gb in size. I put them on my WHS and can stream them directly to my PS3. Strangely the 360 doesn't support this....at least not with WHS. Carry on.

I got PMS!
I liked to add a DNLA application to the list. I've found "PS3 Media Server" to be one of the most dynamic and functional DNLA apps available. I'm able to stream HD quality video in multiple formats with and without transcode subtitle. It also has multi-core support. And the look and feel isn't too bad either.

wow i didnt know bout the 5400rpm hd ....what a fail. tends why its a tad slow on installations and load screens
 might have to mod it one day with a better hd? ya me think so.
