I've had a PS3 for over a year now, and i've got to say, it's proven worth it. Games such as Resistance, Ratchet and Clank Future, Warhawk, and the upcoming titles such as Gran Turismo, Resistance 2, Killzone 2, FF13, Haze, MGS4, etc. along with the free online and blu-ray give it an edge over the older 360. The PSN isn't all that bad, and with the ability to browse online, use linux, and use bluetooth with the PS3 make it, in my opinion, the way to go. I also like the PS3 controller better than the 360's, but that's just my opinion, you have to go with what suits you

lol No, because everyone keeps bringing the RRoD. It no longer affects Xbox 360s that are bought Retail. And so far it seem equal; you just keep agreeing with people who like the PS3. No offense, but you seem to be more of a fanboy than I. And if you want to go at it, fine: Try me. What makes the PS3 better? Use proper English and bring up proper points, if at all possible.

I'm not a PS3 fanboy, and in fact, I hated the PS3 until my dad got one...

The online service is free, which actually makes it cheaper in the long run to buy a ps3.

The exclusives IMO are much better, as most 360 ones come out on PC eventually, which most of us here have. Plus MGS4 will be great.

And Blu-Ray/DVD Upconvert is outstanding, as is the downloadable content.

360's are great if all you do is have freinds on XBL, but I would seriously get a Ps3 if I had a choice.

Anyways, yeah, I can see some of your points. But personally, I have had horribly laggy experiences with PSN. That was in the early days of the PS3, but I have never had problems with Xbox Live. And the games depend on the person. I would never play MGS. I hate that game with a passion. Blu-Ray is a huge plus. However, the downloadable content is either the same or worse than the 360s. The Xbox just has more, I believe.

I love my PS3. I prefer it to my 360 just because that's my preference. However, when people bring up the whole "It has an internet browser and can run Linux" argument I have to kinda chuckle that those are somehow great features. We all have far faster browsers on our machines and we could all install Linux on our machines if we felt like it. Linux and web browsing on the PS3 are moot points, even if they are neat... they're hardly practical.

Then WHY are people STILL getting RROD problems with the NEW 360s? Care to explain that? And no, I'm no fanboy, I just made the choice to buy a PS3 over a 360 last week. In nearly everything I wanted from a game console, the PS3 had/has an edge on the 360. 360 fanboys just need to learn that their console is no longer the best, and PS3 fanboys need to learn that their console is not the 2nd coming of christ, its not THAT good.
